Job Description
We are looking for an AR Caller - Fresher (Accounts Receivable) to join our dynamic team. As an AR Caller, you will be responsible for assisting with medical billing and revenue cycle management processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the US healthcare industry while developing your analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

Claims Follow-Up:
-
Call insurance companies (payer organizations) in the U.S. to follow up on outstanding medical claims.

Determine the status of claims—whether they are approved, pending, denied, or under review.
-
Understand and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Remittance Advice (RA) from payers.

Problem Resolution:
-
Identify reasons for claim denials or delays and work toward resolving them.
-
Take appropriate action based on the response received from insurance companies.

Initiate re-billing or appeals if necessary and update systems accordingly.

Documentation:
-
Accurately document actions taken on claims in the billing software or client database.

Update notes with clear and concise details after each call or follow-up action.

Coordination:
-
Work closely with team members, quality analysts, and managers to resolve billing and coding issues.

Coordinate with the internal team (billing and coding departments) to escalate unresolved issues.

Target Achievement:

Meet daily/weekly/monthly productivity and quality targets as defined by the team lead or management.

Maintain turnaround time and call quality standards while ensuring high levels of accuracy.

Compliance:

Adhere to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations and confidentiality protocols.

Ensure ethical and legal standards are maintained in all interactions and data handling.
