Job Description
- AutoCAD (Mandatory)
- Knowledge of STAAD Pro, ETABS, 3DS Max, SketchUp, Revit (Optional)
- Ability to handle client interactions effectively
- Strong communication skills in Hindi or English
- Exposure to multiple projects across India and abroad, including residential, commercial, and industrial sectors
- Work alongside industry experts on innovative and large-scale projects
Key Responsibilities
1. Architectural Design
-
Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Create blueprints, plans, elevations, and 3D models using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.

Incorporate client requirements, building codes, zoning laws, and environmental considerations into designs.

Prepare visualizations, renderings, and presentations to communicate design ideas to clients.
2. Structural Engineering Design

Analyze structural requirements and design frameworks that ensure stability and safety.

Calculate loads, stresses, and material strengths for building components.

Develop structural drawings, reinforcement plans, and specifications.

Coordinate with architects to integrate aesthetics with engineering feasibility.
3. Project Planning & Execution
-
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants to plan construction timelines.

Prepare material estimates, cost calculations, and resource allocation plans.

Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Inspect ongoing projects to identify and resolve structural or architectural issues.
4. Compliance & Safety
-
Ensure designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Conduct risk assessments and structural integrity checks before and during construction.

Collaborate with authorities for approval of plans, permits, and inspections.

Implement safety measures on-site in coordination with the construction team.
5. Client Interaction & Consultation

Meet with clients to understand their requirements, budget, and preferences.

Provide professional advice on design options, materials, and structural solutions.

Present project updates, timelines, and technical details clearly.

Handle client feedback and incorporate necessary modifications into design and structural plans.
6. Collaboration & Teamwork

Work with a team of junior architects, structural engineers, and drafting personnel.

Coordinate with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineers, interior designers, and landscape architects.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff on design principles, software usage, and structural calculations.
7. Software & Documentation
-
Prepare and maintain accurate architectural and structural drawings, reports, and project documentation.

Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or other BIM tools.

Ensure proper documentation of all project phases for compliance, client records, and quality assurance.
