Required Qualifications :
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data and convert raw data into useful insights in order to make better business decisions
- Must have code development experience using SQL, PL/SQL, Teradata SQL, SAS SQL
- Must have manual and/or automated testing experience using tools like Jmeter, Blaze meter
- Must have experience using control version tools like Git, Big Bucket, etc.,
- Work experience in using any of the data visualization tools – Alteryx, Tableau, QlikView
- Understand key data science fundamentals and has experience building statistical models using SAS, Python or R
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have in-depth knowledge in applying regression methods, classification/decision tree algorithms, sequencing/association tools, pattern recognition and/or other fraud detection techniques for credit risk management decisions
- Investigate data visualization and summarization techniques for conveying key findings
- Provides accurate and concise results and presents findings, recommendations and presentations to Management
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams across marketing, risk, and technology groups
- Ability to work independently and produce results with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills :
- Prior experience in building client 360 data model using data science techniques
- Prior experience in online or mobile product development, risk management, fraud operations or audit
- Fraud management experience – Preferably in a large financial services organization
- Payments experience – Deep understanding of payment systems for both domestic and international payments.
- Client facing experience / Strong communication skills – Understanding of how to manage difficult situations with internal clients and strong communication skills in order to ensure clients understand next steps and what is required from them in order to remediate fraud issues.
