Job Description For Editorial:

• The incumbent will be totally responsible for the publication/s.
• The incumbent would be responsible for leading content in both publication/s and digital (not just an editorial role, but also meet relevant stakeholders, set up and conduct interviews, be an influencer)
• Timely closing of the issue as per editorial brief provided during editorial meetings, month after month will be his/her responsibility.
• Will be responsible for adhering to the columns planned for the product, ensuring that the stories and interviews are conducted as briefed and as required for the product.
• Planning the issues in advance in consultation with the Editorial Board, interviewing industry leaders, sourcing articles from guest writers, generating story leads from newspaper articles on the subject, sourcing information from organizations, getting pages into production with subeditors, designers and DTP operators, ensuring a smooth production process and an error-free final product.

Qualification: BMM (Journalism), B.A. or M.A. English Literature / Mass Communication / PG in Journalism. 

Experience: 4+ years’ work experience

Designation & remuneration: Would be assigned based on the current designation & experience of the candidate.

Job Location: Sewri (West), Mumbai 

Office Timings: 9.30 am to 6.30 pm (Saturday-Sunday Holiday; However, in a month at least 1 Saturday is working.) (Note: It will be a work from home profile until the entire pandemic situation comes to normalcy.)

Desired Profile:

• Person should have worked in an English publication in a similar capacity.
• Added preference for candidates having worked in a B2B publication.
• Someone who is conversant with the Construction / Infrastructure industry.
• Someone who has connects within the Construction / Infrastructure industry as well as Government (especially, construction/Infrastructure related connects in Government).
• This person would be conversant with both, the print and digital spaces in the publication business
