The Non Practicing Allowance (NPA) @ 25% of contractual amount shall be admissible to the Assistant Professors and equivalent positions appointed under the faculty cf Veterinary and Animal Sciences.

Qualification:
1. Qualified in the national level test conducted for purpose by the UGC or any either agency approved by the UGC.
2. Master's Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale plus a consistently good academic Computerization of Library. Relaxation of 5% (From 55% to 500/0) of the marks at the Master's level for SC/ST category for appointment of Assistant Librarian will be given.

However, the application will be considered valid only if it is accompanied with prescribed fee of Rs. 1340/- (Rupees one thousand three hundred and forty only) for un-reserved category candidates and Rs. 340/- (Rupees three hundred and forty only) for reserved Category candidates (alongwith self attested copy of SC/ST/OBC Certificate) in the shape of Bank Draft payable at State Bank of India, HPAU, Palampur drawn in favour of the Comptroller, CSKHPKV, Palampur HP.
