Assistant Professor

Qualification  :  A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in Part of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the said Act); and  a post graduate qualification  e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master Of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.

a.  For Dentistry: A Post Graduate qualification viz. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.

3.  A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline and  A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject or allied discipline.

Note: The respective subject or allied discipline should be as in the Table — I of schedule I of the Medical Council Of India 'Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998.'

Experience :  Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college either during the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) course or after possessing the diplomat Of national board (DNB) qualification. The concerned candidate would also require one year experience of additional teaching or research experience in the concerned subject in a recognized medical college after obtaining the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification.

Salary : Rs.101000/- per month

Associate Professor

Qualification  :  A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.m(Holders of educational qualifications included in Part 'II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the said Act); and  a post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of
Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ allied discipline. For Dentistry: A Post Graduate qualification viz. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.

3.  A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline and  A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject or allied discipline. Five years teaching experience as Lecturer or Assistant Professor in a recognized medical college in the concerned specialty.

Salary : Rs. 116000/- per month

Professor

Qualification: A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (Holders Of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the said Act); and  a post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor Of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.

a. For Dentistry : A Post Graduate qualification viz. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.

Experience :  Four years teaching experience as Reader or Associate Professor in a recognized medical college in the concerned speciality. Note : The transitory period of 4 years w.e.f. 24th July, 2009, the appointment or promotion to the post of Professor can be made by the institutes in accordance with the Medical Council Of India — 'Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998' as prevailing before notification Of Medical Council Of India - 'Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions (Amendment) Regulations, 2009.' OR

Salary :  Rs.177000/- per month
