3. Educational Qualification: M.D in Psychiatry/ M.D Psychological Medicine/ DNB Psychiatry or equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution.

4. Experience: 03 years teaching and /or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree as above

5.Desirable Qualifications: 1. Experience in conducting research studies in patients with severe mental disorders like schizophrenia* 2. Clinical and Research Experience in using standardized clinical and cognitive assessments in schizophrenia* 3. Research experience in longitudinal / prospective studies or randomized control trials in schizophrenia* 4. Research experience in technology-based delivery of mental health services* 5. At least 3 years of experience in supervising and manpower training in the management of severe mental disorders like schizophrenia** 6. Experience in mentoring psychiatry trainees** The candidate should provide a point-wise response in a tabular format to all the above-listed desirable qualifications (i.e. Nos 1 to 6) indicating Yes (OR) No. A “Yes” response should be supported with details as below: Desirable qualifications indicated with (*) should be supported by at least one peer-reviewed publication Desirable qualifications indicated with (**) should be supported by at least one letter of recommendation confirming the details of the experience.

6. Emoluments / Salary: Rs. 1,40,000/- per month consolidated

7. Work location NIMHANS, Bengaluru with intermittent travel to the collaborating institutes.

9. Duration of the post: 02 years Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months and extendable based on the performance of the candidate.
