Assistant Registrar /No.of Post: 1-UR, 1-OBC
Essential Qualification: 1. Post graduate degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade „B‟ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record.2. Experience of least 3 years at Grade Pay of `4800/- or higher in a reputed organisation.3. Persons with Commerce or Finance background will be preferred for one of the posts.
Desirable:1. Qualification in area of Management / Engineering /Law.2. Proficient in handling computerized administration /legal / financial / establishment / academic matters.3. A Chartered or Cost Accountant degree or diploma for the post of Assistant Registrar (Finance and Accounts).
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100

About Company
The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is
one among the thirty NITs in India established as an Institute of
National Importance with full funding support from the Ministry of Human
Resource Development, Government of India. The Institute started its
journey as one of the youngest NITs of India in the year 2010 and the
first batch of B. Tech students of NIT Meghalaya in the three
disciplines of ECE, CSE and EEE will be graduating in June, 2014. At
present the Institute has nine departments covering all the major
engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering B. Tech and
Ph. D programmes. The M. Tech programme is being started from 2014.
Other post graduate programmes like M. Sc and MBA shall also be started
soon. At present the Institute is functioning from a temporary campus in
Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya.
