Your Opportunity

You will participate in the testing effort of enterprise software. He/she will test and critique software components and interfaces in great technical depth, write test frameworks, programs to assure high product quality, develop advanced test tools to increase productivity and efficiency.

We are looking at hiring trainees for the Regression team at Informatica who shall be responsible for certifying multiple Informatica products across major Hadoop distributions.

Your Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for designing and automating functional, i18N, concurrency, stress/longevity test plans, test cases based upon requirements and Customer/Field use cases
• Design automation frameworks.
• Participate actively in functional, system, and regression testing activities.
• Test the features and functionalities of the PowerCenter product.
• Working with internal teams and external customer to better understand use cases and design an effective test strategy
• Innovating new ideas for automation and tools for overall QA productivity
• Collaborates effectively with peer engineers and architects to solve complex problems
• Innovating new ideas for automation and tools for overall QA productivity
• Working with cross geographical R&D engineering and QA teams
• Mentoring junior engineers
  

Your qualification

• BS/MS/MCA in Computer Science with 1 to 3 years of total experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience in testing Enterprise products.
• Experience in the PowerCenter tool.
• Know how to develop mappings/sessions/workflows. Knowledge about how different transformations work.
• Prior experience in Client testing tools i.e., Selenium/Silk
• Basic Core Java concepts
• Understanding of large complex software systems to isolate defects, reproduce defects, assess risk and understand varied customer deployments
• Strong OO design and programming skills with Java
• Good database (ability to write queries) and operating system knowledge
