For Engineering & Technology and Management
1. Assistant Professor (Grade-I)
Qualification : M.Tech/MBA or equivalent with first division and throughout a good academic record.
2. Assistant Professor (Grade-II)
Qualification : (i) M.Tech/MBA or equivalent with first division and throughout a good academic record + 2 years experience at the University level. or (ii) M.Tech/MBA or equivalent with first division and throughout a good academic record + 1 year experience at the University level provided at least 2 years prior experience elsewhere.
3. Assistant Professor (Senior Grade)
Qualification : (i) Ph.D., with first division in preceding degree and throughout a good academic record + at least 2 years post Ph.D. experience. Publication requirement is essential. Should be active researcher, capable to develop syllabi, courses, labs etc. (ii)While considering candidates, the Vice-Chancellor may approve relaxation of post Ph.D. experience for exceptionally good candidates.
For Sciences, Humanities & Social Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacy and For the Faculty in Management of Non MBA Stream
4. Assistant Professor (Grade-I)
Qualification : Ph.D., with first division in preceding degree and throughout a good academic record.
5. Assistant Professor (Grade-II)
Qualification : (i) Ph.D., with first division in preceding degree and throughout a good academic record + 2 years experience at the University level for people without prior experience. or (ii) PhD with first division in preceding degree and throughout a good academic record + 1 year experience at the University level provided at least 2 years prior experience elsewhere.
