(NISH)
Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist (ASLP)
Educational Qualification: MASLP/ MSc. Speech and Hearing/MSc. SLP candidates with experience in interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) will be preferred. Teaching experience will be an added advantage for candidates in general. Research experience with published papers in international peer-reviewed journals will also be given preference
Special Educator/Intervention Specialist
Educational Qualification: Any degree with B.Ed/D. Ed in Special Education (ASD). The ideal candidate will be a person who has passion for teaching and has experience working in intervention programs or special schools or inclusive classrooms. International experience will be an added advantage. All candidates selected to this position will be required to undergo a 4 month NIM- TIE (Training for Inclusive Educator) program of NISH. Only after successful completion of the program will the candidate be eligible for employment.
English Teacher (To teach deaf students attending post-secondary programs including degree level courses).
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree in English from a recognized University and a reputed college. Experience in teaching special needs population will be given preference. Knowledge of sign language will be an advantage. All candidates selected to this position will be required to undergo a 4 month NIM- TIE (Training for Inclusive Educator) program of NISH. Only after successful completion of the program will the candidate be eligible for employment.
Age: 35 years
