Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. The role involves the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions, including PLC programming, HMI development, robotic systems, and control panel design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with multiple PLC platforms, strong troubleshooting skills, and expertise in communication protocols and motion control systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test PLC ladder logic programs and HMI screens using Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff, Delta, Omron, and Siemens platforms.

Develop control panels and electrical architectures as per project requirements.

Work on robotics-based automation systems including integration and commissioning.

Create and maintain project documentation including test reports, SOPs, and technical manuals.

Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols such as RS-232, TCP/IP, Modbus, CAN, and ActiveX.

Understand project requirements and develop detailed control logic for automation solutions.

Provide technical support, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of automation systems.

Work with measuring devices (Load Cell, LVDT, Resistance, etc.) and sensors (analog and digital).

Apply domain expertise in motion control systems to ensure efficient and accurate operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution and delivery of automation projects.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.

Proven experience in PLC programming and HMI development across multiple platforms.

Strong knowledge of robotics, industrial automation, and control systems.

Hands-on knowledge of communication protocols and industrial networking.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prepare documentation, SOPs, and test reports independently.

Strong technical understanding with domain exposure in motion control and industrial automation.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
