Job Description
We are looking for a talented video editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that is suitable for broadcasting ultimately,as a video editor,you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Edit audio levels and mix audio tracks and also input music,dailogues,graphics and effects
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency
- Handle video file conversions,wed link,and digital encode requests
- Create edits based on request from the organization and its supported affiliates
- Create effects,titles,and other graphics
- Assist rest od editing team with digitization and its supported affiliates
- Create effect,titles,and other graphics
- assist rest of editing team with digitization and management of video files,including,but not limited to,syncing of footage ,archiving.importing and exporting
- Produce preview links for video ans assemble breakdowns for edits
- abide by organizations legel guidelines regarding video production
- Archive and upload raw and master files within the audio/visual database and server
- perform ant other duties assigned by the supervisor
- Ability to pick up new software and tools quickly.
- deep familiarity with both current and burgeoning AV post production workflows.This includes current and upcomming standards ,as well as best practices for rate,raster and color space coversions
- attention to detail,demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- reordering and fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the video
- adding titles and cmpositing where needed and basic video effect/special effects
- proven work experience as a video editor with excellent in adobe premium pro,Adobe After effects and Adobe photoshop
- Create/edit videos with high class standards and timelines in mind
- Creativity would be an added advantage,
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
