Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and implement AV systems including video conferencing, sound systems, displays, and control systems.
Install, test, and maintain AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, video walls, digital signage, and control panels.
Provide technical support for live events, meetings, and conferences (both in-person and virtual).
Diagnose and resolve AV system issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
Work with IT teams to integrate AV systems with network infrastructure and collaboration platforms like Zoom, MS Teams, Webex, etc.
Maintain inventory of AV equipment and ensure systems are regularly updated and patched.
Train users and provide documentation for proper operation of AV systems.
Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and suggest upgrades or improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, IT, Audio Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in AV installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency with AV systems such as Crestron, Extron, Polycom, Cisco, Biamp, Shure, etc.
Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet).
Strong understanding of signal flow, cabling standards, and equipment mounting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications like CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) are a plus.
