Job Summary:

We are looking for a Field Wireman to support Airtel’s B2B wireless network operations. The role involves field-level installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and restoration of wireless connectivity and associated equipment at customer and network locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and restoration of B2B wireless network equipment.
• Attend field complaints and ensure timely resolution within defined TAT/SLA.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of network equipment, cables, power connections, and related infrastructure.
• Handle fault identification and rectification at customer/network locations.
• Coordinate with NOC, Field Engineers, Team Leads, and other technical teams for issue resolution.
• Conduct site visits for new installations, upgrades, replacements, and fault restoration.
• Ensure proper cable routing, termination, earthing, and equipment connectivity as per standards.
• Maintain proper documentation of field activities, fault closure, equipment replacement, and site status.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational guidelines during field activities.
• Ensure customer-impacting issues are escalated and closed within the committed SLA.
