We are an online tutoring service for school students to teach them technologies like web development, scratch, and data science.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Working on the integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
2. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
3. Designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
4. Working on the implementation of security and data protection
5. Working on the integration of data storage solutions
6. Understanding accessibility and security compliance
7. Working on user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
8. Working on the integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
9. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
10. Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
11. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
12. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

2. can start the internship between 5th May'21 and 9th Jun'21
3. are available for duration of 3 months
4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements
1. Should have strong proficiency with JavaScript
2. Should have knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it
3. Should have an understanding of the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
4. Should have a good understanding of server-side templating languages
5. Should have a good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors
6. Should have a basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3
