Job Description: Backend Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Good experience in Nodejs

⚫ Strong JavaScript fundamentals along with experience with libraries.

⚫ Write good quality software with thorough unit tests and high code coverage.

⚫ Take complete ownership of client facing modules of PMFBY product stack right from

development stage to deployment and release maintenance.

⚫ Work closely with engineering managers for timely delivery of product features and

engineering tasks.

⚫ Participate actively in design discussions and defining the long term architecture of the system.

⚫ Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integrate tests and deployment scripts

⚫ Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developer with server side logic

⚫ Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

⚫ Implementation of security and data protection

⚫ Deliver reliable solutions that handle massive data and high traffic.

Required Skills:

⚫ Good experience in Nodejs, MySQL/MSSQL, Redis, Elastic Search etc

⚫ Experience in working on large projects required.

⚫ Well versed in software engineering principles, frameworks, and technologies.

⚫ Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions Communicates continually

with the project teams Explains progress on the development effort.

⚫ Assists in defining architectures Collaborates with teams to explore existing systems,

determines areas of complexity and learns the applications capabilities.

⚫ Full Stack Developer with a strong understanding of back-end development.

⚫ Strong web app development experience.
