Job Description
Applications are invited for the posts given below, on contractual basis for a period of one year at Sainik School, Amaravathinagar, Tamil Nadu, 642102.
Band Master / Ward Boys
(a) Band Master Contractual Basis 01 Post ( ST*)

Between 21 to 50 years of age as on 01 May 2021.
Band Master/ Band Major/ Drum Major Course at the AEC Training College and Centre, Pachmarhi or Equivalent Naval /Air Force Course.
(i) Previous experience in Military training institution/military schools/Sainik schools/Boarding Schools
(ii) Candidates having degree/diploma in Music related subjects.
(iiI) Ability to speak in English and Hindi/Tamil fluently.
(iv) Achievement in cocurricular/art/sports activities.
(v) Aptitude for Residential school life style.
(b) • Ward Boys Contractual Basis

• Should have passed matriculation or equivalent examination and should possess the ability to speak in English and Hindi/Tamil fluently
(i) Diploma/ Degree from a recognised university in India
(ii) Previous experience in Military Training Institution/ Military Schools/ Sainik schools/Boarding Schools
(iii) Achievement in sports/ Art/ Music/ Extra Curricular activities.
(iv) Aptitude for Residential school life style.
(v) Achievement in sports/ Art/ Music/ Co Curricular activities.
Application Fee. The applications of every eligible candidate should be accompanied by a non-refundable Demand Draft for Rs.500/- (Gen & OBC) and Rs.300/- (SC/ST) drawn in favour of ‘PRINCIPAL, SAINIK SCHOOL, AMARAVATHINAGAR’ payable at SBI, Amaravathinagar (Code 2191). This is also applicable to all eligible candidates whose names may be forwarded by Zilla Sainik Board or Employment Exchanges. Any application that is not accompanied by the non-refundable demand draft or if any applicant forwards an incorrect demand draft the application will be rejected without notice/intimation
