Job Description
SALES
Sales of residential, industrial, commercial solar PV systems and solar water pumps
Signing up dealers or channel partners to sell Solar PV systems
Finalize agreements and signing contracts with dealers/channel partners
Prospecting for and qualifying leads
Conducting site evaluations for potential customers (including getting on the roof for measuring)
Analysis of customers' current and projected electrical usage and financial return on investment
Create quotes for customers and perform basic system design calculations
Logging all communications with customers in contact database
Communicating with product engineer/operations team regarding system design and installation.
Public speaking and presentations
Staffing tradeshows and other events
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Minimum 2 years of sales experience, distributed/Rooftop solar PV experience preferred
Good communication and customer service skills and experience.
Understanding of basic financial concepts (ROI, IRR, NPV, etc...)
Basic understanding of civil, mechanical and electrical concepts
Proficient with computers and the following applications: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Must be highly organized & have ability to multi-task and set priorities.
Great team player with ability to perform in a collaborative rather than competitive sales team environment.
