Job Description
- Source and develop new international business opportunities
- Impact company growth utilizing a variety of methods including solicitation, client referrals, networking, developing agent relationships, lead generation, etc
- Work with International Marketing Manager to coordinate development and implementation of marketing communications campaigns to support international pursuits
- Oversee preparation of competitor analyses to support strategies
- Develop and oversee all budgets designed to support new business development
- Drive and oversee division planning and forecasting
- Build sales development plans
- Provide timely feedback to sales leadership regarding international sales performance
- Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profits
- Demonstrated ability to build customer and industry relationships
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a variety of global sales cultures
- Effectively present and explain the products and their value to prospective clients
- Negotiate spreads and maximize profitability on all new business
- Conduct phone sales, as well as in-person visits with current and potential customers
- Immediate follow up on sales leads and client referrals
