Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic and goal-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable with both client-facing interactions and strategic planning. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and supporting overall sales efforts to drive company growth.
The Business Development Executive will act as a bridge between the company and its clients, helping convert potential leads into long-term customers, developing sales pipelines, and ensuring customer satisfaction through the entire sales journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:

Identify new business opportunities in domestic and/or international markets through various channels including:

Cold calling

LinkedIn outreach
-
B2B platforms (e.g., IndiaMART, TradeIndia, etc.)

Email campaigns
-
Networking events and exhibitions
-

Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.

Maintain a steady pipeline of prospects for different products/services.
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

Reach out to potential customers, explain product/service offerings, and schedule presentations or meetings.

Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Understand customer requirements and offer tailored solutions that meet their objectives.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the pre-sales and onboarding phases.
3. Sales & Revenue Generation:

Convert qualified leads into sales by negotiating contracts and closing deals.

Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.

Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue and conversion targets.

Track and report all sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions in CRM tools.
4. Product & Market Knowledge:

Stay updated on company products, services, pricing models, and value propositions.

Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activities.

Collaborate with internal teams to understand product updates, delivery capabilities, and customer feedback.
5. Follow-Up & Coordination:

Ensure timely follow-up with leads, warm prospects, and clients.

Coordinate with marketing, operations, and technical teams to support customer queries or service delivery.

Share client feedback with the product/operations team to improve offerings and customer experience.
6. Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of calls, meetings, follow-ups, and progress reports.

Update CRM platforms and databases regularly with current client information.

Prepare weekly/monthly business development reports and share them with management.
Required Skills & Competencies:
