Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive in Pune. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, business communication, and account management.


Skills required:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Professional and presentable demeanor.

Proficiency in MS Office and Internet applications.

Energetic and self-driven with a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Possession of a two-wheeler.

Experience in education companies is advantageous.


Experience:

Freshers: Enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a strong willingness to learn and grow in the business development field.

Experienced Candidates: 1 to 2 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the education sector.


Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify and research potential clients through cold calling, networking, online platforms, and referrals.

  • Generate new leads through business directories, social media, industry events, and other sources.

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads to meet monthly targets.

2. Client Engagement & Sales Presentations:

  • Contact prospective customers to introduce company offerings and services.

  • Schedule meetings, give presentations, and deliver product demos (in-person or virtual).

  • Explain service features, pricing, and benefits tailored to customer needs.

  • Customize proposals and quotations as per client requirements.

3. Closing Deals:

  • Handle client objections effectively and convert inquiries into successful sales.

  • Negotiate terms of the agreement and close deals to achieve sales targets.

  • Follow up with leads consistently until conversion and onboarding.

4. Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business.

  • Provide after-sales support, resolve queries, and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Act as a point of contact between clients and internal departments.

5. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, negotiations, and deals in CRM or Excel sheets.

  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports to the management.

  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and feedback for product/service improvement.

6. Strategy & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and sales materials.

  • Contribute ideas for new market segments, pricing strategies, and sales approaches.

  • Participate in regular team meetings, product training, and workshops.
