Job Description
Designation: Business Development Intern
Responsibilities include:
1. Working closely with the sales and marketing team to shortlist and prospect customer segments in the given area - retail, B2B, consultants, retail, etc.
2. Conduct research and gather a database of prospective customers in a given area
3. Work on attending and participating in meetings, workshops, promotional activities, events, and exhibitions
4. Work on observing and carrying out sales processes & updating documents and sales records
5. Work on reviewing sales performance, trends, sales potential, and sales targets, identifying potential weaknesses, and offering improvement suggestions
6. Work on advising forthcoming product developments, discussing special promotions, gathering market and customer information, and providing feedback on future buying trends
7. Work on keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders
