Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious, result-oriented, and strategic Business Development Manager to lead efforts in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The BDM will play a critical role in expanding the customer base, exploring new markets, and enhancing brand visibility through active market engagement and solution-driven sales strategies.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales or business development, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals. This is a client-facing role requiring both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Acquisition

Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.

Qualify leads and convert prospects into long-term clients by presenting tailored solutions that address specific business needs.

Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups and closures.

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
2. Client Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure ongoing business, retention, and satisfaction.

Understand client requirements thoroughly and work closely with internal teams to deliver suitable solutions or services.

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and handle escalations professionally and promptly.

Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling within existing client accounts.
3. Market Analysis and Strategy

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify potential opportunities or threats.

Prepare detailed business development strategies based on market conditions, customer segments, and product/service offerings.

Provide input into pricing strategies, service positioning, and promotional planning.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s offerings and value propositions.
4. Proposal Development and Presentations

Create and present compelling proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations tailored to the prospective client’s needs.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with legal, finance, and delivery teams to finalize proposals and ensure seamless onboarding.
5. Reporting and CRM Management

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools.

Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports detailing progress against targets, key activities, and market insights.

Participate in regular review meetings with leadership and sales teams to align goals and share strategies.
