Role: Business Development Trainee
Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru
Mode: Work From Office (WFO)
Work Days: 6 Days a Week (Rotational Shifts — Sat & Sun mandatory)
Laptop: Required
CTC: ₹3.5 LPA (Fixed) + ₹2.5 LPA (Variable)

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
-
Identify potential clients through online research, industry directories, LinkedIn, and databases.
-
Perform outreach via email, LinkedIn, and cold calling to schedule introductory meetings or demos.
-
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on company criteria.
2. Sales Support
-
Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and presentations.
-
Follow up with prospects and clients via phone calls or emails to maintain engagement.
-
Participate in sales calls, product demos, and client meetings with senior team members.
3. Market & Competitor Research
-
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and client pain points.
-
Compile and analyze customer feedback to identify potential areas of improvement in the sales approach.

Track competitor activities and suggest ways to differentiate our offerings.
4. CRM & Documentation
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions, and opportunities in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).

Generate daily/weekly reports summarizing lead progress and follow-up status.

Assist in maintaining databases, sales pipelines, and client records.
5. Training & Development
-
Participate in internal training sessions on business development, product knowledge, and communication techniques.

Work on real-time assignments under the mentorship of business development executives.

Complete assigned projects and submit regular progress reports to your supervisor.
Skills & Competencies
Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication in English (and any regional language, if required).

Confident speaker with a friendly and persuasive tone.

Strong email etiquette and professional writing abilities.
Analytical & Research Skills

Ability to conduct basic internet research and summarize key findings.

Comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, and presentation tools.
Sales & Marketing Aptitude

Interest in business growth, customer acquisition, and sales strategies.

Basic understanding of marketing funnels, lead generation, and B2B/B2C models.
Organization & Time Management

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Detail-oriented with good documentation habits.
