Star Sea Management Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Executive to support business development, client coordination, and company growth. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and supporting the team in achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities through various channels.
- Contact potential clients and introduce the company's crewing and maritime recruitment services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Communicate with ship owners, ship managers, and other industry partners regarding business requirements.
- Follow up with potential clients and convert business opportunities into successful partnerships.
- Prepare and share company profiles, service proposals, quotations, and other business-related documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand and fulfil client requirements.
- Maintain records of leads, client communications, follow-ups, and business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and new business opportunities.
- Attend meetings, calls, and industry networking activities as required.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding business development activities and progress.
- Handle other business development and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, client coordination, or a related field.
- Freshers with excellent communication and interpersonal skills may also apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.
- Knowledge of the maritime, shipping, or crewing industry.
- Experience in B2B sales or client acquisition.
- Strong networking and lead-generation skills.
- Good understanding of business development and sales processes.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Professional attitude with a target-oriented approach.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
