About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Carry out quantitative and qualitative research on a given topic e.g. skill gap report, employment scope, etc.
2. Design specific research methods such as questionnaires and survey
3. Remain informed on market trends and other available research reports
4. Collect, analyze information and suggest best practices for implementation
5. Report writing & presentation

Retailers Association's Skill Council of India (RASCI) is a skill council for retail & its sub-sectors, i.e., brick & mortar (modern & traditional trade), FMCG/FMCD distribution, e-commerce, and direct selling & entrepreneurship. We are a section 8, not for profit organization, set up and funded by the GOI and equity participation from industry partners, i.e. Retailer's Association of India, Reliance Retail Ltd., Future Retail India Ltd., Shoppers Stop Ltd., Globus Stores (P) Ltd., Trent Ltd., Infiniti Retail Ltd., and Connaught Plaza Restaurant (P) Ltd., to function as an apex skill development, standard-setting and government recognized certification body for vocational training/education/courses in India.
RASCI acts as a bridge between industry demand and talent supply vide creation of job role-specific national occupational standards, thereby enabling employability and livelihood for the youth of India.
