Key Responsibilities:
1. Career Counseling

Conduct one-on-one or group counseling sessions with students or clients to understand their background, aspirations, and challenges.

Help individuals identify their strengths, weaknesses, career interests, and goals.

Offer guidance on various career paths, academic choices, and job opportunities based on assessments and discussions.
2. Psychometric and Skills Assessments

Administer career aptitude tests, personality assessments, and interest inventories to help clients better understand their potential.

Interpret assessment results and link them to suitable career fields.

Recommend development areas and further training based on assessment outcomes.
3. Educational and Career Planning

Guide students on course selection, educational institutions, entrance exams, scholarships, and academic planning.

Assist job seekers in understanding industry requirements, emerging career trends, and vocational options.

Advise on career shifts, reskilling, and upskilling strategies for mid-career professionals.
4. Resume and Interview Preparation

Help clients prepare professional resumes, cover letters, and digital portfolios.

Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback on communication, presentation, and answering strategies.

Educate clients on job search platforms, networking, and professional etiquette.
5. Workshops and Career Events

Plan and deliver workshops on topics such as career awareness, goal setting, personality development, and workplace readiness.

Organize job fairs, employer talks, alumni sessions, and industry visits.

Collaborate with training providers and recruiters to create opportunities for clients.
6. Job and Internship Support

Build partnerships with companies, recruiters, and placement agencies to identify job and internship openings.

Support students and clients in preparing for placement drives or walk-in interviews.

Monitor application processes and follow up with employers and candidates for placement outcomes.
7. Recordkeeping and Reporting

Maintain updated records of client profiles, counseling sessions, and placement data.

Prepare regular reports on counseling outcomes, placement status, and client satisfaction.

Use CRM or career portal systems to manage data and streamline communication.
8. Industry and Labor Market Research

Stay up-to-date with labor market trends, in-demand careers, and industry expectations.

Research qualifications, certifications, and skills required for different professions.

Advise clients on the feasibility and future scope of chosen career paths.
