Role Description

This is a remote, contract-based role for a Career Counselor. The Career Counselor will provide expert guidance to clients, offering tailored advice on career development, career management, and job search strategies. Responsibilities include conducting career assessments, facilitating career coaching sessions, guiding students and professionals in building their career plans, and supporting clients in the development of communication and interview skills. Collaboration with clients to ensure their individual career objectives are met is a key focus of the role.

Qualifications

Expertise in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management
Experience in Student Counseling and providing guidance across diverse career stages
Strong Communication skills, including the ability to actively listen and provide clear, actionable feedback
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful client relationships
Familiarity with job market trends and professional branding strategies
Proficiency in delivering services in a remote environment
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Human Resources, Education, or a related field
Relevant certifications (e.g., Career Development Facilitator Certification) are a plus
