  • Responsibilities:
    • Receive payment by check, credit cards, cash, vouchers, or automatic debits
    • Issue refunds, credits, receipts, or change due to customers
    • Greet customers entering store or shops
    • Maintain orderly and clean checkout areas 
    • Operating cash registers quickly and accurately
    • Answering customer questions
    • Balancing cash registers
    • Handling returns, exchanges and complaints
    • Answering phones as needed
    • Promoting customer loyalty plans
    • Helping with stocking, cleaning and other duties as needed
