Job Description
Subject: Recruitment to one post of "Instructor(Electronics)", (Group B' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in Level 6 in the Pay Matrix (i.e in the pre-revised pay band-2 Rs.9300 34800+Grade pay of Rs.4200/- in Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training, Cochin, a subordinate office of the Department of Fisheries, on deputation (including short term contract)-regarding.

Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or with six years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-I (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs.2800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and possessing the following educational qualification and experience:
4. Essential: B.E. or B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Or Associate Membership or Institution of Engineers (India) in Electronics and Telecommunication; Or Associate Membership or Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers Two years experience in maintenance and repairs of Marine Electronic equipments.
5. Desirable One year experience of teaching in Radio Telephone Operation in a recognized Institution.
6. (Period of deputation(including short term contract) including period of deputation(including short term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
