Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and results-driven Channel Sales Manager to build and manage strong relationships with our distribution network. This role is critical in driving revenue growth through indirect sales channels such as dealers, resellers, wholesalers, or retail partners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales dynamics, channel marketing, and partner enablement within the industry.
As a Channel Sales Manager, you will oversee the channel strategy in your designated territory or product vertical, ensuring optimal partner performance, loyalty, and alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Channel Development & Partner Acquisition:

Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners such as distributors, dealers, and resellers.

Build a strong, diversified partner network aligned with the organization’s sales goals.

Conduct partner due diligence, contract negotiation, and territory allocation.
2. Relationship Management:

Maintain regular communication with partners through meetings, calls, and field visits.

Foster long-term relationships with channel stakeholders through trust, transparency, and responsiveness.

Address and resolve partner concerns related to pricing, supply, marketing support, and logistics.
3. Channel Sales Performance:

Drive channel sales targets and ensure consistent revenue contribution from each partner.

Analyze sales performance by channel and identify improvement areas.

Guide partners in forecasting, inventory planning, and sell-through strategies.
4. Training & Partner Enablement:

Train channel partners and their teams on product features, selling points, and compliance guidelines.

Provide updated marketing collaterals, price lists, and sales tools to channel partners.

Conduct joint field visits, product demos, or customer presentations where needed.
5. Channel Marketing Support:

Plan and execute partner-focused marketing campaigns, offers, and incentive schemes.

Work with the marketing team to co-brand and promote company products through partner channels.

Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events relevant to channel sales.
6. Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare detailed sales reports, funnel analysis, and market feedback from channel partners.

Track distributor ROI, credit exposure, scheme payouts, and outstanding payments.

Monitor competitor activity within the partner network and advise on pricing or strategy adjustments.
7. Compliance & Policies:

Ensure partners adhere to company pricing policies, branding guidelines, and ethical standards.

Manage documentation related to channel agreements, GST/tax compliance, and supply chain protocols.
