Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Chef to work at our snacks and juice shop near Hennur and HBR Layout. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing a variety of snacks, fresh juices, milkshakes, and light food items. Apart from cooking, the candidate will also be responsible for basic cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
This is a full-time, 9-hour job suited for someone passionate about food preparation and customer satisfaction. We prefer candidates who live nearby or are willing to relocate to Hennur/HBR Layout for convenience and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Food Preparation

Prepare a variety of hot and cold snacks such as sandwiches, rolls, samosas, cutlets, fries, pakoras, burgers, and other popular fast foods.

Make fresh juices (e.g., orange, watermelon, pineapple, mosambi, lemon) using clean, hygienic methods.

Prepare tasty and thick milkshakes (e.g., chocolate, strawberry, mango, dry fruit shakes, banana shake).

Maintain quality, taste, and consistency across all items served.

Suggest new menu items to improve offerings, based on customer feedback.
2. Cleanliness & Hygiene

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area at all times.

Wash utensils, juicers, and cooking tools regularly.

Ensure fruits, vegetables, and raw materials are washed properly before use.

Wear gloves, aprons, and follow hygiene protocols during work.
3. Inventory & Stock Management

Check and manage stock of fruits, milk, bread, snacks, sauces, and other ingredients.

Inform the owner or manager in advance when supplies are low.

Avoid food wastage and ensure proper storage of perishable items.
4. Customer Service

Greet customers politely if needed and take simple orders.

Work with the cashier or server to ensure timely service.

Take pride in presentation and cleanliness of food served.

Handle feedback positively and improve food quality when required.
5. Team Coordination
-
Work as part of a small team and assist co-workers as needed.

Follow instructions from the owner/manager carefully.

Help in opening and closing duties of the shop.
Work Schedule

Working Hours: 9 hours per day (including a short break)

Shifts: Flexible between morning and evening hours depending on shop timing

Weekly Off: 1 day (rotational or fixed, as per shop policy)
