Job Description
Assist with various research activities, including data collection, experimental procedures, Analysis and documentation of Skin & hair formulations& Personal care formulations
Conduct research to identify new ingredients, technologies, and trends that enhance product performance and appeal.
Maintain detailed documentation of formulations, processes, and trials for compliance and future reference
Key Responsibilities:

Product Formulation Support:
Assist in the development and formulation of new cosmetic and personal care products, following established procedures and experimental guidelines. -
Lab Work & Sample Preparation:
Prepare lab batches and prototypes under the guidance of a senior chemist. Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients using laboratory tools and equipment. -
Testing & Evaluation:
Conduct basic physical and chemical tests on raw materials and finished products. Evaluate the stability, texture, appearance, pH, viscosity, and fragrance of formulations. -
Documentation & Data Entry:
Record observations, batch notes, test results, and formulation changes with precision. Maintain accurate lab notebooks and product development records. -
Quality Assurance Assistance:
Support the quality control team by performing checks on product consistency, shelf life, and compliance with specifications. -
Raw Material Handling:
Learn to identify and understand the function of various cosmetic raw materials, including surfactants, emulsifiers, humectants, preservatives, active ingredients, and fragrances. -
Safety & Compliance:
Follow laboratory safety protocols and good manufacturing practices (GMP). Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. -
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, packaging, and regulatory affairs to align on product goals and requirements.
