Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Cloud developer you would be helping to Modernize Applications using latest Cloud Technologies
Responsibilities:
- Write data processing code using Apache Spark and Python as per IBM Cloud Development Standards.
- Developing the Data processing task using PySpark such as reading from external data sources/files and merge data, perform data enrichment and load in to target data destinations.
- Create Technical Design documents
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Should possess 2+ yrs of good hands on experience in developing the Data processing
- Developer must have good knowledge of Apache Spark and Python Programming.
- Task using PySpark such as reading from external data sources/files and merge data, perform data enrichment and load in to target data destinations.
- Must have working experience on the Cloud.
- OpenShift will be added Advantage.
- Good working knowledge on Kubernetes.
- CI/CD knowledge for Data pipelines will added advantage.
- Working experience on Agile Methodology will be added advantage.
- Should have experience in writing Technical Design document
- Apache Spark , Python, Cloud Platform (OpenShift Preferably)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Should be able to mentor junior resources.
