Cochin Shipyard Limited, a listed premier Mini Ratna Company of the Government of India, invites applications for the post of  Faculty -Marine Chief Engineer  on a contract basis at CSL through Walk-in-selection

Faculty -Marine Chief Engineer in Marine Engineering Training Institute (METI) on a contract basis

Eligibility:

a) Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
b) Certificate of Competency (COC) issued or recognized by DGS, Government of India, as Marine Engineer Officer Class I (MEO Class I)- Unlimited Horse Power.

Experience Essential: Should have sailed as Chief Engineer on Indian or Foreign Going Ships.

Desirable:  a) Candidates who have teaching experience in DGS-approved Institutes.
b) Done a “Vertical Integration Course on Training (VICT)” or “Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA)” course prior to 1st Oct 2018 conducted by DGS-approved Institutes

Period of Contract: a) The above post is temporary in nature and for a period of three years, extendable for a further period of two years subject to organizational requirements and individual performance.

Age: The upper age limit prescribed for the post shall not exceed 70 years as on 28 November 2022. i.e. applicants should be born on or after 29 November 1952. 

Remuneration: Rs. 95,000

Consolidated Pay (` per month): Rs.  89,850/-  Medical Allowance: Rs.5,150
