The Assam Public Service Commission will hold Preliminary Examination of the Combined Competitive Examination, 2016 for screening candidates for the Main Examination for recruitment to the services/posts as per the actual number of vacancies as shown below

Examination, 2016 fee under the Head of Account viz., ‘Non Tax Revenue Other Non Tax Revenue, 0051 Public Service Commission, 102 State Public Service Commission, Application/Examination Fee Receipt Of Assam Public Service Commission’.
Selection Method as per APSC Combined Competitive Exam Notice :
The Combined Competitive Examination will be held in two stages:
1. The Preliminary Examination
2. The Main Examination (written and interview)
(I) Preliminary Examination:
Paper-II One subject to be selected from the list of optional subjects given below: Marks=200
Centres for the Preliminary & Main Examination: (A) The centres for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination are Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Dhemaji, Dhubfu, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Goalpara, Golagiiat, Haflong, Jofuiat, Icarimganj, Kokrajhar, Mangaldoi, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, Sivsagar, Tezpur And Tinsukia. (B) The Combined Competitive (Main) Examination will be held in Guwahati only.
