Job Summary:

A Computer Operator – Data Entry is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and managing data into computer systems and databases. This role involves routine data input, verifying data integrity, generating reports, and supporting various departments by maintaining organized digital records. Attention to detail, computer proficiency, and speed are essential to ensure data accuracy and smooth information flow.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and possesses strong typing and computer skills. This position is fundamental in supporting business operations through effective data handling.

Compare data with the source documents, apart from re-entering data in the verification format, in order to detect errors.
Compile, sort as well as verify the accuracy of the data before entry is done.
Maintain the logbooks of activities along with completed work.
Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking the output.

Required Skills:

Experience with MS Office and data programs
Typing speed and accuracy
Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
