The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and updating information into computer systems and databases, maintaining digital records, managing routine administrative computing tasks, and ensuring data integrity. This role is essential in maintaining accurate and organized business records, generating reports, and supporting various departments with their data-related needs.
The Computer Operator – Data Entry must have good typing speed, proficiency in computer applications such as MS Excel, Word, and database software, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Attention to detail, time management, and basic knowledge of office procedures are critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry and Database Management:

Enter, update, and maintain accurate records in computer systems, spreadsheets, or software databases.

Input customer, vendor, inventory, or employee details as required by the organization.

Verify the accuracy of data before entering it into systems to ensure data quality.

Identify and correct errors in data by comparing entered data with source documents.

Organize and maintain electronic files and folders for quick access and reference.
2. Data Verification and Quality Control:

Review data for deficiencies, inconsistencies, or duplication.

Perform regular data audits and cleaning to ensure consistency and correctness.

Assist in checking and verifying scanned documents or digital files for completeness.

Coordinate with team members or supervisors in case of unclear or missing information.
3. Report Generation and Documentation:

Generate reports, summaries, charts, and tables as per departmental or managerial requests.

Assist in preparing daily, weekly, or monthly MIS (Management Information System) reports.

Maintain logs of activities, entries, and completed work for management records.

Print, scan, and file physical documents and backup digital data as required.
4. System Operations and Office Tools:

Operate office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, copiers, and fax machines.

Use word processing software to draft letters, memos, or basic reports.

Work with spreadsheets to sort, filter, and format data.

Manage data entry tasks in company-specific software or ERP systems.
5. Administrative and Support Tasks:
