Consultant Interventional Cardiologist - Ulhasnagar
Job Description
Perform coronary angiographies, angioplasties (PCI), and other catheter-based interventions.

Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases in outpatient, inpatient, and critical care settings.

Collaborate with cardiology and critical care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Interpret echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and other diagnostic studies.
-
Participate in medical education, training programs, and CMEs within the hospital.

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with medical and ethical standards.

Stay updated with advancements in interventional cardiology and incorporate evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:

Evaluate and diagnose patients with cardiovascular conditions through clinical assessments, diagnostic tests, and imaging techniques.

Interpret diagnostic results to develop accurate and effective treatment plans.
2. Interventional Procedures:
-
Perform a range of interventional cardiology procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and catheter-based interventions.

Utilize advanced imaging techniques to guide procedures, ensuring precision and optimal patient outcomes.
3. Patient Management:
-
Provide expert consultation on complex cardiovascular cases and treatment options.

Monitor and manage patients during and after interventional procedures to ensure optimal outcomes.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and diagnostic results.

Ensure timely and appropriate follow-up care, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
4. Collaboration and Teamwork:

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Provide second opinions and expert advice to other physicians or departments regarding complex cases.

Attend case review meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ward rounds to provide input on patient care strategies.
5. Education and Training:

Facilitate training sessions, workshops, or seminars for junior doctors and other healthcare staff.

Mentor and guide residents, fellows, and junior medical staff in clinical and procedural skills.

6. Research and Development:
