Job Description
- Opportunities for Content Writer-Fashion Industry:-
- Experience: 1-3 Yrs
- Location: RMZ Infinity, Bangalore.
- Create compelling,
creative and brand-right.
- Support the voice and
conscience of the brand through naming of products and shades, copy for
packaging copy, public relations and marketing materials and various other
internal and external projects to support the development and launch of the
brand
- Key liaison between design,
merchandising and marketing to ensure creative direction is translated
appropriately and with consistency
- Write press materials;
proofread for clarity and consistency of style
- Proof artwork
- Partner with the Marketing
and Merchant team to understand product point of view as well as develop
positioning and creative concepts for new products and collections
- Interact with the customers
to understand the userbase
- Ensure the brand has a
clear voice and is articulated clearly to every user
- Stay relevant
with fashion trends through magazines and field research (street, art, pop
culture); presents themes and concepts to teams
- Track copy trends throughout the market; serve
as language expert
QUALIFICATIONS/CAPABILITIES:-
- Bachelor’s degree in
Journalism/Creative Writing/Communications/Marketing or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience as a writer/editor/blogger
- A passion for writing, storytelling and creating new ideas
- Beauty, fashion and/or entertainment background a plus
- Fashion junkie! Loves any and all things fashion and grooming related. Can
debate the merits of lip gloss vs. lip lacquer for hours on end. Has a good
working knowledge of fashion market and trends in general
- Versed in Millennial/Gen Z culture: current trends, slang, music, celebs,
etc. Must have finger on the pulse of current language
- Editorial background preferred, but not required (i.e, former Fashion
Editor)
- Ability to translate established marketing strategies into clear, concise and
communicative concepts, which are consistent with the brand
- Strong collaboration and teamwork orientation; ability
to work cross-functionally with other internal departments toward the
development of successful campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an attention to
detail, accuracy and thoroughness
- Strength in grammar and copy editing (proofing)
- Ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Open-minded, flexible, patient, and cooperative
- Ability to develop a variety of world class brand or retail personalities
