Editorialist YX fuses personal styling, content, and shopping in one seamless digital experience driven by proprietary technology, e-commerce tools, and luxury fashion content.

Editorialist YX is looking for a Content Writer. We are a startup where you will get to work with amazing people in a fun collaborative environment. As part of this role, you would be joining a small focused team that works on finding best ways to integrate fashion expertise with technology. You will be responsible for writing SEO friendly content in fashion and beauty.

Responsibilities

Write clear, engaging copy with a distinct voice
Conduct high-quality research
Understand and apply SEO best practices
Edit and proofread copy as needed
Source images and other forms of content
Understand our target audience & their unmet needs to influence our content strategy
Stay up-to-date on current industry and social trends
Promote content on social media
Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, English, journalism or related field
2+ years experience
Strong verbal and written skills in English
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of US/European fashion industry is required
Experience with SEO
High Energy/Startup Mindset
Creativity
Willing to learn
Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or google docs
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience in using technology platform like wordpress or mailchimp is a big plus
