Our company is in need of a talented Content Writer to create compelling blog posts, white papers, product descriptions, social media content and web copy. We’re looking for someone who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience.

Job description

We are looking for content writers, capable of doing the following: -

·        Writing web content for E-commerce from scratch.

·        Candidate should have a strong hold on English language.

·        Write content for websites, banner ads, and brochure.

·        Create content which gives website readers access to information in a simple, easy to understand language.

·        The content writer should write content to engage readers.

·        Editing and proof reading content once written.

·        Writing, editing and proof reading copy for the projects based on the material.

·         Writing product descriptions, brand support material etc.

·        Proof reading, editing and writing content on a regular basis for building up the website including informative short articles.

·        Check web pages finally before making them live.

·        Develops and writes regular newsletters addressed to internal and external customers.

·        Take lead in researching, sourcing and writing clear and impactful communication material, for print and digital including publications, website, blog, social media etc.

·        Prepare internal and external communications including announcements, press releases, quarterly corporate reports, presentations, technical documentation, sales support, etc as needed

·        Writing clear marketing copy to promote our products/services.

·        Preparing well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.

Skill Requirements

·        Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role.

·        Portfolio of published articles.

·        Experience doing research using multiple sources.

·        Familiarity with web publications.

·        Excellent writing and editing skills in English.

·        Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)

·        Ability to meet deadlines.

·        Blogging, Content Marketing, Content Writing, Creative Writing.
