Job Title – Content writing intern

Job Summary :

• We are looking for a talented and dynamic Content writer intern who is keen on building interactive and creative content for website, online media, blogs, newsletters, social and in-app content to help us in expanding our digital footprint and drive more customer value through content.
• As we are a startup, launching our very first brand in the market, we would like to hire a dynamic candidate who is buzzing with ideas to generate unique content on diverse topics and can capture the market.
• If you’re familiar with producing online content, have an eye for detail with a passion for writing we’d like to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

• The candidate will be writing /editing content which will target a diverse audience. You’ll be someone who doesn’t get exhausted looking for content ideas. Even the seemingly dull topics can come to life with your words
• Creating original web content, scheduling posts and maintain the company’s web pages and blogs.
• Edit and proofread content created by other team members.
• Managing brand’s online presence by creating copy and content for social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Take part in submissions across the Web Directories and article, social bookmarking, forum, engaging content for third-party sites and guest blogs, other company Facebook fan pages to increase link popularity for the website and other SEO related activities
• You’ll have a good understanding of how SEO works and be up to date with the social media best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends.

Skills / Expertise required

• Excellent writing and communication skills, the candidate should be proficient in  

Grammar and spoken English. He/she should have a good grip on English vocabulary

• Bachelors degree in English literature  or Mass communication
• Proficient in MS – Office and various other internet tools     
• Ability to organise, set priorities and complete work within given deadlines
