Job Description
Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated Cook in Zirakpur who can prepare and sell Paranthas and Puris from an open food cart. The cook will work under the guidance of the head chef at the base kitchen, help with daily food preparation, and travel in a vehicle with a helper to operate the food cart and serve customers.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in street-style Indian breakfast and enjoys working directly with customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare dough, fillings, sabzi, and other items in the base kitchen with the help of the head chef.

Travel in a company vehicle to the food cart location every morning.

Cook and sell Paranthas, Puris, and other breakfast items fresh on the food cart.

Maintain hygiene, quality, and cleanliness of the food and cart.

Work closely with a helper to manage crowd, serve customers, and handle utensils and cleaning.

Keep track of daily sales and report to management.

Be punctual and ready for early morning preparation and cart operations.
Requirements:

Must know how to make Paranthas and Puris (tawa and fryer experience required).

Minimum years of cooking experience preferred (street food or dhaba-style experience is a plus).

Must be honest, reliable, and willing to take responsibility.

Able to work with a small team and manage customers politely.

Should be physically fit and okay with early morning shifts.
