Duties and Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyse cost data for various projects and operations within the company.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects and departments.
• Analyse variances between actual costs and budgeted/planned costs and provide explanations.
• Support in maintaining and updating cost accounting records and reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand cost drivers and provide insights for cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in implementing cost control measures and process improvements.
• Provide support in inventory management and valuation.
• Prepare reports and presentations on cost-related matters for management review.
• Learn and apply cost accounting principles and techniques under the guidance of experienced professionals.
