Job Description
About the internship
N.Y.A.A.S.S. is now offering free internships at Pune location for our counselling initiative, where the counsellors shall help our students as well as our members with their issues while working in a social field, in stressed times and facing community-based challenges. Counselling initiative shall require professional counsellors willing to spare their time for our genuine social workers and students in the communities. Your support to every social worker and student shall mean more than just motivation to them.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Providing counselling to members
2. Conducting session, workshops, and testing
3. Assessing members through detailed conversations, interviews, and observations to determine the appropriate testing or examination
4. Building a relationship of trust and respect with member
5. Educating appropriate coping mechanisms to help member through tough situations

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements
1. Excellent communication skills
2. Experience writing assessments and reports to monitor members progress
3. Ability to empathize with members

Keeping this aim in mind, our organization works in 3 communities of Pune there are 3 classes running for more than 100 students from the age group of 6 to 16. Currently, there are 25 members from the age group of 18 to 35 working hard to achieve this dream through 3 ongoing projects: Integral Development Program (Life skills program), Be a Mentor (Mentor for every adolescent), and Pustak Pedhi (Library in the community).
