About Centre For Youth Development And Activities

Centre for Youth Development and Activities (CYDA) is a voluntary organization registered under the society registration act 1860 in the year 1999. CYDA works with young people between 13 years to 29 years to empower them and them in turn contribute towards improving the lives of marginalized in society, especially adopting a rights development approach. The underlying premise on which CYDA works is the belief that youth' is a potential force, who if mobilized and channelized in the right manner and invested in, could serve as agents of social change and transformation.

About the work from home job/internship

Due to a very high number of COVID cases, there is an acute shortage of hospital beds, plasma, critical COVID medicines, etc. CYDA helpdesk works in assisting patients/their relatives find these scarce but critical resources thereby saving lives.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Link up with hospitals, blood banks, and government departments and provide information to the beneficiary on the availability
2. Promote plasma donation from COVID recovered donors
3. Coordinate with different COVID-19 platforms in the respective cities

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for the work from home job/internship

2. can start the work from home job/internship between 7th May'21 and 11th Jun'21

3. are available for duration of 3 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Must have a compassionate heart and a deep desire to help reduce misery one person at a time

2. Must have good communication skills

3. Must have the ability to navigate social media platforms
