Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
Perform continuous security monitoring using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel).
Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents, alerts, and threats.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
Manage endpoint security solutions such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, or Symantec.
Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, VPNs, and network security devices.
Perform log analysis and investigate suspicious activities across servers, networks, and applications.
Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and MFA.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend security improvements.
Perform malware analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
Collaborate with IT, Cloud, and Network teams to implement secure infrastructure.
Support cloud security for Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
Implement and maintain email security solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Office 365 or Proofpoint.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and forensic investigations.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, GDPR, or other security standards.
Conduct security awareness training and phishing simulation campaigns.
Prepare security reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation.
Support penetration testing and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
