Counselor/Social Worker Job position in Dadra & Nagar Haveli Administration - Social Welfare Department on contract basis

Counselor (DCPU)/ 01 Post

Qualification or specialized knowledge experience required: Post graduate /Graduates preferably Sociology/ Psychology (Child Psychology) Social Work or Rural Development with computer skills is a must.

Nature of Duties: 1)At least 2-3 years of working experience related to providing counseling services to children in conflict with law and children in need of care and protection as well as their parents and families. 2)Experience on the Child Care/Protection/Rehabilitat ion/ understanding on child rights.

Pay Scale : Rs.14,000/-

Age Limit : Below 35 year

Social Worker (Male) (DCPU)/ 01 Post

Qualification or specialized knowledge experience required: 1)Graduate in Social Work/ Sociology/ Psychology from recognized university, desirable PG degree in Social Work/ Sociology/ Psychology.2) 2-3 years of working experience in the relevant field child care/protection/rehabilitation/und erstanding on child rights and child welfare.3)Computer Skills. Fluency in English, Hindi & Gujarati.

Nature of Duties:  1)To coordinate field level activities in their respective cluster of sub-divisions as assigned by the DCPO.2)To guide the outreach workers for carrying out the field level interventions.3)Shall also assist the SJPU (Special Juvenile Police Unit) in discharging their duties as and when required.
